Fendi Fall/Winter 2018 collection was all about geometric patterns and soft tones. The show started with the wall going up and forming a triangle-gateway for the models to walk through. Silvia Venturini Fendi, the women who invented the Fendi Baguette bag, emphasized on the sharp side of the Fendi Fall/Winter 2018 collection. “Strong women, soft power; strong boots, bags, strong everything,” she said.
The show captured a balance between hard and gentle in a Fendi collection. The iconic logo of Fendi ‘F’ appeared everywhere, from earrings to tights to fur sweatshirts to flocked trenchcoats and baguette bags. This season, these had the traditional all-over pattern or a metallic ‘F’ corner frame as a hinge at the side.
