Massage a thick layer of plain honey all over your clean face and neck before applying mask. Apply mask to your face with upward strokes. Lie down and relax for 10 to 15 minutes. Remove and rinse by using a soft facial wash cloth and warm water.

Green Tea: Green tea contains antioxidant properties that may help to reactivate cells and fight against damaged skin.
Sugar: Good ol’ sugar is a humectant which may help the skin retain moisture. Sugar also contains glycolic acid which may help encourage cell turnover and fresh-looking skin.

Olive Oil: Olive oil contains important antioxidants which help in protecting the skin from premature aging. Olive oil also helps in treating the oily skin, by drawing out unwanted oils.

Raw Honey: Honey is loaded with antioxidants and natural enzymes that helps in cleansing and nourishment of skin. Honey may also fight against acne, due to it’s antibacterial properties.

In a medium-size bowl, combine all the ingredients. Store the exfoliator in an air-tight container in a cool, dark place

Your Three-Step Guide to Radiant Skin

How often is it that while flipping through the pages of your favorite glossies, and scrolling through your Instagram feed, you stop to admire the gorgeous skin that beauties like Miranda Kerr, Beyoncé and Taylor Swift flaunt? You wish that by some miracle of the universe you wake up to spotless, smooth and glowing skin. The fact is that neither you nor any of these Tinseltown starlets have it easy when it comes to great skin; you’ve got to nurture and pamper it to see the results you want to see.

Here’s the ultimate beauty guide you should embrace – it’s the only one you need:

  1. Cleansing – The number one rule to good skin is to never hit the sack without cleansing. Begin by removing your makeup with cleansing milk or makeup remover. Follow it up by massaging your face with a face wash and rinsing it with lukewarm water.

  1. Toning –Thought you could give this step a miss? Here are reasons shouldn’t!Toning is an essential part of a skin care regimen because it removes the remaining bits of grime, oil, and debris left behind after cleansing. More importantly, a toner tightens your pores, prevents blackheads and breakouts and nourishes your skin while restoring its pH balance. After cleansing, dip a ball of cotton in a toner and dab it onto your face and neck.

  1. Moisturizing –Moisturizing your skin has both short and long-term perks. In the short run, it leaves your skin feeling soft, smooth and fresh. In the long run, it prevents premature skin aging. Make sure your daytime moisturizer offers a minimum of SPF 15 protection. Your night cream should contain ingredients like retinol, collagen, hyaluronic acid and elastin to help enliven your skin while you sleep. Take a dime-sized amount of moisturizer on your palm, dab it on your skin and massage it in an upward, circular motion.

The New Hair Trend to Try – Unconventional Braids

From what was your undisputed favorite hairstyle as a child to what is today one of the hottest and the most versatile hair trends world over, braids have come a long way and have seen some gorgeously radical transformations over the decades. Spotted everywhere, from the international runways to celebrity soirees, braids are having a huge moment right now. Whether you define your style as classic-minimalistic or bold-experimental, we’ve listed down five stunning braided hairdos to suit your fancy that are sure to leave you spoilt for choice:

1. The Ponytail Braid – Running late for a meeting and your hair’s not behaving itself? Well, we have something just right for you! One of the easiest yet the chicest hairdos for a scenario like this is the ponytail braid as spotted at the Céline 2016 Spring show in Paris. All you need to do is work some high-shine serum on your hair, slick your hair back into a super-tight ponytail and secure it with a hair tie. French braid the ponytail and secure its end with another hair tie. Ta-da – you’re boardroom ready in under 5 minutes!

2. The Heart Braid – Trust Alia Bhatt to show us how to rock braided hairdos! From all her beautiful braided hairstyles we’ve seen in the recent past, our absolute favorite is this heart braid styled by Ayesha DeVitre. To recreate this look, you first need to divide your hair into two sections from the middle. Next, take a thin section of hair from the left section, starting near the crown. Braid the thin section and create a curve ending at the back of your head. Secure it with a hair tie. Repeat the same steps with the right section and join both braids with an elastic band.

3. The Textured Braid – Give the out-of-the-bed look a twist (literally) with this textured braid made famous at Mara Hoffman’s Spring 2015 show. Blending the elements of grunge-chic style with a touch of femininity, this deconstructed braid is perfect if you’re looking for a hairstyle to match your bohemian sensibility. Begin by washing and air drying your hair. Run your fingers through your hair to rid it of tangles and divide it into three sections. Gather the middle section into a low ponytail. Next, divide that section into three separate sections and braid. Now, wrap the left section around the braid, securing it with bobby pins. Repeat the same with the right section. Pull out a few strands to frame your face and give it a softer feel.

4. The Double Dutch Braid – The braid craze is also catching up with the Indian blogger community. Bloggers Rhea Gupte, Ayushi Bangur and Kritika Khurana, all have a torrid love-affair with braids. We adore this dainty double Dutch braid that the That Boho Girl blogger, Kritika Khurana is working so beautifully. Recently, even Kylie Jenner was spotted with her version of this elegant hairdo. You can find Kritika’s tutorial for this braid here.

This hairstyle has a French braid starting at the crown and extending all across the forehead. The remaining hair is tied back into a low-slung ponytail. Pretty (and) simple!
